TikTok captions are easy to read and awkward to select. A link is enough when the post is public. This walkthrough uses the website tool, not a login.
Start from the share menu
Open the public post and copy its link. Full `tiktok.com` links and short `vm.tiktok.com` links both point at the same post. Copying the profile link will not produce a caption.
Use the TikTok page
Go to caption copy TikTok and paste the URL. Instagram and YouTube links are rejected here so the result is not mixed up with another platform.
Get caption returns the caption text. If the post has no caption, the page says so instead of filling in a guess.
Keep the emoji
Copy caption writes the exact string, so emoji and line breaks survive the paste. Copy hashtags is separate, for the tags only. If you want the text stored on your phone, paste it into the Caption Copy app after you copy it.
